We will restore your jewelry's worn or faded finish to it's original gold
luster and brilliance. Through wear-and-tear, your jewelry's original
gold finish can fade and "wear-through" to the underlying (silverish)
nickel plating. The exposed nickel can oxidize and produce an ugly,
tarnished, blue-green color and discolor your skin or clothing.
THREE RIVERS GOLD has gained it's
decorative gold plating knowledge through years of "hands-on" restoration
experience. We have acquired the "know-how" to restore older worn items to
their original beautiful finish. Each part goes through a long and
intensive chemical plating process. We clean, strip the old finish, etch
and plate the metals back in an exact sequence to give the proper
adhesion. We replicate the factory's original finish.

Instructions for Shipping Your Jewelry Items to Three Rivers Gold
1. Check the condition of the jewelry
you want gold plated Visually check the jewelry items you want gold
plated to make sure that they are in good condition. Please do not send
damaged, severely oxidized or broken jewelry. We will return any items
that we feel are not plateable.
2. Include a note with the following
information Include a brief explanation of your item along with your full
name, "ship-to" address, city, state, zip and a telephone number or
e-mail address where you can be reached. After we receive your package for
plating and assess the final gold plating cost, we will contact you for a
final approval before starting the work.
3. Packaging and Shipping your parts
Make sure the item is packaged properly! If boxes or packages are not
secured, the items may fall out or be damaged when shipped through the
post office or UPS (etc.). We suggest wrapping the parts individually in
tissue paper and placing them in the center of the box using packing media
to cushion your items for the journey through the mail to our factory. If
you are uncertain about preparing the package yourself, we suggest that
you take your items to a retail shipper like "Mail Boxes, Etc." or "PostNet"
to prepare and ship your box to us.
4. Seal the box with tape Seal the
outside of the box securely with tape. Use a good quality strapping or
sealing box tape.
5. We suggest that you insure your
item for it's present value. We do not take responsibility for damages
incurred through shipping. We insure all packages that are sent back to
our customers.
6. Methods of shipping We suggest
using the U.S. Postal Service or U.P.S., Federal Express or any other
reputable shipping company.
